I started going to Dr. Jaramillo after she took over the practice of Dr. Silberschmidt in Stoughton, so I've been seeing Dr. Jaramillo several times a year for almost a decade. I've unfortunately had to have lot of work done including root canals, and have had to spend a lot of time consulting with Dr. Jaramillo. Her level of expertise and skill is great, and unfortunately as another reviewer noted that can lead to some 10 or 15 minute delays if she is taking extra time with another patient, but it is well worth it to get carefully considered and fully explained info and options from her. If you are the lucky type of person who never has dental issues, and needs a fast 30 minute cleaning and checkup once a year and that's it, I can see how the waits would be annoying, but I trust and highly recommend her.
Never before have I had a dentist that I felt actually cared about my oral health and actually made me care more about my health as well. Staff is very friendly as is the Dr. Also she does it all. My last dentist gave me a referral for my wisdom teeth. Dr. Jaramillo does it all! She's not afraid to get the job done. I will never go to another dentist as long as she is practicing. Whoever gave the 1 star review is simply impatient. She does only have as far as I can tell 2 assistants so it's not in and out but I personally like that. Who wants to be treated like a fast food customer at the dentist? I'll spend my time there where I know I'm being properly cared for...
Front desk staff was very helpful and accomodating. My experience beyond that was terrible. I scheduled a new patient evaluation and cleaning and was told this would take 90 minutes. During the 90 minutes I was at the office, 10 were spent obtaining x rays and 5 were spent in painful exam. The remainder of the time I sat waiting in a chair. The front desk staff then told me there was not time for a cleaning and I would have to schedule the cleaning for a later date as well as a consult with the doctor to discuss exam findings. I left the office without any information regarding my dental health and no cleaning, both of which were my objectives. I am now satisfied under the care of another dentist, but did experience difficulty having Dr. Jaramillo's office send the x rays to them.
