Here is the last place on earth that sells discrete electronic components in a retail environment. I visit this Radio Shack several times/week to pick up resistors, potentiometers, wire, etc. It's a lifesaver for any inventor/maker.

I had a horrible experience last night at the Radio Shack in Stoughton. I had purchased a new phone from US Cellular and they told me I can bring it in to have it activated. I did this last year also at the same place. I also use to be a loyal customer and would go there before other places to support a local business, but not anymore. The owner as he told me he was. Asked if he could help me and I explained I needed help activating my phone and when he found out I didn't buy it from the store he said no he wouldn't help me that I needed to buy it from them in order to activate it. I said I would like your help and the US Cellular operator said I can go there to have it done. He gave me more attitude and said "Fine" grabbed my phone slammed it down by his register and started typing something. I went over to him and said "no you are not getting my business now" then he yelled at me with many customers in the store and said "Buy it from here next time!" I am no longer going to go to this store which I frequented often. I was just looking for some help.
Great Radioshack! Open just outside of Madison Wi, this location offers hard to find electrinics as well as A Full line US Cellular STORE! They even repair Computors an sell Phones! Great locally owned family business!
