Lovely cooking class: Dim-Sum Dumplings... A very pleasant experience! The class size was manageable, the environment congenial, and Paul was an excellent teacher. Tasty, drinkable Cabernet and water was topped off periodically throughout the evening, and we were encouraged to try our hand at rolling dough as well as crimping dumplings, which is simpler (but a far different technique,) than I've used in the past. We composed both vegetarian and pork fillings, and had the opportunity to cook and eat both fried and steamed dumplings. There were many good tips shared about making the dough, which has been my shortcoming as a dumpling-freak for a very long time. My dough is always too sticky... Never again! All in all, I'll be going back. They even asked for feedback at the end of class about what classes we would like to see in the future. I very much enjoyed my time at an All Through The House cooking class. The store is also very full of both nice drinkable wines, and a selection of practical, beautiful cookware.
