I absolutely loved staying here. We had a great time. We use d t hr paddle boat, paddle boards and kayaks. Watched many beautiful sunrises. The owner is great too and he has tons of recommendations. We would love to stay here again.
I am not a big fisher, but the fishing on Lake Kegonsa is supposed to be pretty good if that is your thing.
Wonderful home style atmosphere on Lake Kegonsa. The owner is friendly, attentive, and will treat you like a member of his family (if you want more privacy you can go that route too).

I am 40, my family has been coming here almost every year since I was 11. I have never had anything less than a wonderful time.
The worst was one year when it rained or stormed on five of our seven days. Frank (the owner) spent every day talking to everyone describing indoor things to do in the area and we still had a great time.
Our visit to Crown Point was perfect. We were visiting family in Stoughton and this was the perfect place to stay. Frank the owner and his son were absolutely wonderful to deal with. If you needed anything they were their to help. The cabin was clean, warm and comfortable. We booked a second cabin for our daughter and her family and they also loved the place. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay close to Madison this is it. The views from your cabin were breathtaking. Will definitely stay here again when we are visiting our family again.
The best part of Crown Point Resort is the owner....Frank. He takes great pride in his resort. He is always available to answer questions, take care of any issues you may have and most importantly..... to make sure that you enjoy your stay. He truly is a great host!
My family and I have been going to Crown Point Resort for over 16 years. We have never been disappointed! The accommodations are very comfortable, always clean and very economical. Lake Kegonsa offers some very good fishing opportunities....never been "skunked". There are several boat launches on the lake.

I would unreservedly recommend this place to anyone who wants a family vacation where you get together and bond.
You can get in lake activities, you are less than ten minutes from the Madison Belt Line via US 51 so any action in Madison is easily accessible.
