Water was leaking from my skylight into my kitchen. When I called other repair people their statements to me was "well maybe it won't rain to hard" and "after today and tomorrow it should be sunny." When I called Performance Exteriors Adam came out to my house that day and between showers calked the skylight to try to help!! He pulled a team from another job to replace my skylight as soon as possible to resolve the issue. Now I call that excellent customer service!! When I called Adam with a question and left a voice mail he always called back in a timely manner addressing my concerns. The crew that was sent was polite, clean, and went right to work. No texting or talking on their phones before starting the repairs. They came, did a wonderful job on my repairs and there was not a scrap left on my roof or lawn when they left. I just say enough good about this company and it's employees.
This company is not professional what so ever! It's as though they hire children to do the work and they do not work as a team and make many many mistakes. The sales reps were the only nice decent people that we met from this company. One of the many things that I want to share that is bad about this company is the managers they put in charge of these projects. The man we had constantly lied, was not doing his job by supervising these people that were fixing our roof so many mistakes were made! And in the end all the damages that the company did to our house they will not pay for, claiming that their people didn't do it would not recommend this company what so ever!
My experience with Performance Exteriors was frustrating and disappointing. I hired them to replace our roof. Part of the project was covered by insurance due to hail damage and part of it I was paying for. Communication about the project and the invoice was poor. Costs were never clearly laid out and I ended up paying more than $900 over what I expected to pay. The quality of work performed was also poor. The roof was left lumpy, a shutter on the front of the house was broken, skylights were incorrectly removed and reinstalled to name just a few of the problems. Cleanup inside and outside was also poor. It felt like Performance Exteriors was trying to cut corners at every turn. Out of many home and commercial contractors I've hired this was one of the worst.
They were quick to respond to my roofing estimate even though I said I would be getting multiple bids. I decided to go with their company even though they didn't have the lowest bid because of the rep who came out to my property. Adam went above and beyond in communication and the crew did an amazing job on my roof as well as cleaning up around the property. Adam came out and met up with me for a walk-around to make sure I was happy with the result.
I would definitely work with them again in the future.
I hired them to replace my roof from hail damage. They did a great job of helping me through the process and working with my insurance company to get the coverage I needed. Adam's customer service was excellent and kept good communication lines open throughout the whole process. I would recommend them again in the future.
