I've come to a realization that if a business treats good employees like s---, they will treat customers no different.
Now about this ddd...
If this is the kind of business that's what's in the local area, I urge you to seek out another eyeglasses place instead.
To compete, local stores must match their prices with Walmart or face going out of business for good.
The entire company has been closing its clinics for the last 5-7 years because o.f the economy.
The customer then pays the full amount because they were forced to.
Fact: If a price is high, customers leave the store, and go to stores like Walmart instead and the little grocery store loses business.
Let me tell you about DDD folks.
Fact: Customers are drawn to low prices and will come to local stores if the price is low and the company stands behind its products if it ever fails to exceed your expectations.
Businesses should never treat good employees badly for a good thing that was done.
So in response, the doctor then proceeds to keep the customers glasses from them until they can pay for them in the full amount.
So about this ampunt of the customers bill that got deleted, an employee calls a credit card company to tell them they entered the wrong amount at first because they were instructed if the customer can't pay in full no glasses from the customer so the customer ends up paying the full price.
So it ends up being the same amount that was deleted by accident (because customer said the could afford only half and doctor wouldn't let the customer have their glasses until played in full) then the doctors tell this employee who was trying to do the right thing by helping another employee gets a comment from all of the doctors "we don't trust you"
Thetes a rumor going round town that someone at the ddd clinic in stoughton was written up by the doctor there.
Now ever since the company was bought by SSM health, things have went downhill they began closing almost every clinic outside Madison.
To cover the loss another employee signs a check to cover the other employees losses from the deleted full amount of the glasses.
As a walmart cutomer for 30 years, Walmart sadly puts out alot of businesses in an area because their prices are low and people are drawn to cheaper products that are 3-5x higher at local stores.
For what? The rumor goes, a credit card company of another employee's would not replace an accidentally deleted sale for several days and the bank of that sane employee wouldn't do it for several hours.
I hear a doctor acted all surprised and bummed when the same employee said I'm looking for a new job because of the "we don't trust you" comments from the doctors.
The local businesses in this state just don't have a clue about this. They end up bummed, upset, and confused when they close their doors for good wondering why their business closed.
But even then, walmarts prices are also ridiculous in the area and so is Pick N' Save's too.
When your business begins to get greedy by upping its prices, we customers will think you are an ---hole.
Meanwhile, a new Walmart supercenter is being completed in town by march of next year I heard.
Thorough eye exams with friendly staff. Optometrist caring and considerate. Selection of frames not huge but adequate, and the optician was friendly and helpful.
Will edit when I hear more about this story.
---------
The customer at the time is said to have repeatedly received a $500 bill for the glasses and stated they could only afford half of that large bill.
Because, if this business continues this way they are, the final nail on the coffin will be struck.
